Yoga

This practice focuses on slow, steady breaths that connects every movement of the body. A gentle warm up will lead into a slow flow, topped off with deep twists and longer holds to help keep you relaxed. This practice is suitable for all body types and skill levels, but is not recommended for children 5 and under.

Mats will not be provided – please bring your own yoga mat to participate. Children under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

All Levels Flow Yoga offers continuous, steady movement and elements of challenge to keep you focused and inspired. This practice features a series of postures building strength that is suitable for all body types and skill levels, but is not recommended for children 5 and under.

Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga will feature both seated and standing on-the-water poses that will put your balance and core strength to the test. This practice is not recommended for children unless accompanied by an adult (must be 10 and up).

There is no charge for SUP Yoga if participants bring their own equipment (SUP board, PFD, and paddle). If equipment is needed, it will be provided by the USNWC with the purchase of a Single Activity Pass, a Day Pass, or a Season Pass on a first come, first serve basis.

Meet at the Kayak Center before heading down to the Flatwater Dock.

Morning Power Flow Yoga will offer intense flowing sequences followed by advanced postures and core strengthening. This intermediate to advanced practice is for those prepared to sweat. This practice is not recommended for children.

Yoga for Beginners takes yoga back to the basics by providing step by step instruction. This practice offers the opportunity to learn the proper alignment and fundamentals of poses and is suitable for all body types and skill levels. This practice is not recommended for children 5 and under.

This youth-specific practice will help children improve their focus, coordination, balance, and strength, all while learning respect and positive mindset. This light-hearted, yet interactive practice will keep kids engaged for a full 30 minute yoga session. This practice is recommended for children ages 6 – 10.

Saturday, April 21 – 1:30 pm (30 minute class)
Sunday, April 22 – 1:30 pm (30 minute class)

Acro Yoga is a physical practice combining yoga, acrobatics, and Thai massage. At the beginning of the practice, you will be led through a brief yoga warm-up, followed by demos, coaching, and encouraging in an upbeat, positive flow. No experience is necessary, but this practice is not recommended for children 5 and under.

Mats will not be provided – please bring your own yoga mat to participate. Children under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
