#TuckFest Photo Comp

The #TuckFest Photo Comp is open and available to anyone at Tuck Fest with a camera, video camera, or camera phone. Simply post a photo or short video (15 seconds or less) of a scene at Tuck Fest to Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. Make sure you use the hashtag #tuckfest and tag @usnwc in your post. The top three entries will be selected to win a USNWC prize pack. Entries must be posted by Sunday night (4/22) at 11:00pm to be entered to win. #TuckFest Photo Comp Winners will be selected the week after Tuck Fest.

Outfitters Shoe Demo

Looking to test out new trail running shoes while taking in the sights and sounds of Tuck Fest? Stop by the USNWC’s Outfitters to demo shoes from La SportivaInov-8, Altra or Hoka One One. Demo shoes will be available in various male and female sizes during normal store hours. ID and credit card are required to demo shoes.

Bell’s Brewery Happy Hour

Come by on Thursday evening to the Bell’s tent by the Market Bar. Bell’s Brewery reps be handing out some brewery swag and sampling some raw ingredients (malt and hops) from each of their three most popular beers – Oberon Ale, Two Hearted Ale and Amber Ale. Join us for a beer and maybe even learn a little something about your favorite brew.

Hydro Flask Power Hour

Get in on a game of Skee-Ball for a good cause at the Hydro Flask booth in the Vendor Village. A $1.00 donation gives you a chance to win a Hydro Flask, with all donations going directly to the maintenance and preservation of the Carolina Thread Trail at the USNWC. Be sure to bring your Hydro Flask along to receive a custom built My Hydro lid in the color of your choice.

Bell’s Brewery Scavenger Hunt

Explore the various sights and sounds of Tuck Fest and complete the Bell’s photo scavenger hunt. The first 600 Tuck Fest attendees to pick up a clue card from a Bell’s tent and successfully find the 10 items get a pair of Bell’s sunglasses. Post scavenger hunt photos to social media with #BellsBeerHunt and @BellsBrewery to be entered in a drawing for an additional swag bag of Bell’s goodies.

Chris Clark Bicycle Stunt Show

Over the past 15 years, Professional Stunt Cyclist Joe Janicki has competed and performed on the National circuit securing a spot as one of the Nation’s top talents in the Sport of Observed Trials. The sport requires riders to navigate some of the most treacherous terrain imaginable including boulders, ledges, and unwalkably steep descents. Joe’s 30 minute performance will demonstrate his abilities and skills as he jumps his bike through his custom built course. Stick around after the show to check out Joe’s custom built trials bike, pose for a picture, and enter to win a Schwinn bike giveaway.

Shows will take place next to the Raft Pavilion throughout the weekend.

Native Snakes of North Carolina

Learn about the native snakes of North Carolina, their adaptations, and why snakes are essential to the food chain. The program will include a live native snake demonstration and is great for the entire family to attend.

Paige Claassen Presents Slaydies

Join Paige Claassen and the La Sportiva crew to watch the latest media sensation, Slaydies. Paige will be introducing the film and answering questions afterward. There will be posters for everyone who comes out (while supplies last) and Paige will be around after the show for a meet and greet and poster signing.

Big Water

Get ready for some action-packed paddling at Tuck Fest Big Water, featuring the biggest and best whitewater the USNWC has to offer. Class III and IV rapids take center stage with double the water to be enjoyed by paddlers and spectators alike.

  • Big Water Session participants must purchase a Day Pass.
  • Please book a Rafting Reservation for the 6:30 pm time slot on Saturday evening.

Sunday Funday with Bell’s Brewery

Sundays at Tuck Fest are always Fundays, especially with Bell’s crew in town. Come and hang out by the Market Bar for Bell’s games, giveaways and, of course, Bell’s beers, while enjoying the final day of Tuck Fest.
