Not a “certified bicycle technician” or in need of a refresher course? This demo will teach you how to fix a flat, general bike tune up steps, how to clean your steed, and more. Our friends at the Bike Source tent in Vendor Village will review the basics and will be available for questions. No prior riding experience is required.

Team Dagger and Adriene Levknecht will take you through their approach on racing. Topics covered will include stroke placement, race strategy, and mental fortitude. Whether you’re looking to just cruise down your local stretch using less energy, or trying to crush your buddies at the next race, this clinic from some of the fastest paddlers out there will accelerate your paddling.

Biking … Where Do I Start?

Interested in getting into Mountain Biking or Road Cycling? Don’t know where to start? Swing by the Bike Source tent in Vendor Village to get all the info you need to put your wheels in motion. Bike Source staff will be on site to discuss the differences in bikes, necessary gear, general bike safety, and what is the best way to get into the biking community. No prior riding experience is required.

Kids’ Short-Track Pre-Ride

Gear up for the Kids’ Short-Track MTB Race with veteran Schwinn rider, Chris Clark. Chris will lead the way through the Short Track course, offering tips on how to have the best run possible to participants.

Grom Mob Youth Kayaking Clinic

For all the young and aspiring whitewater rippers, this is an opportunity to paddle with Team Dagger members, have fun, and get some pro tips. A great opportunity to meet other young paddlers, try some new lines or surf a new wave with a host of support around you. Participants should be able to roll or have attended one of the USNWC’s kayak camps or development programs. Stick around till the end for some awesome giveaways.

Learn the basics of backcountry survival and preventative measures you can take for your next adventure during Survival 101. The USNWC Outdoor School staff will provide a brief overview of the seven priorities of survival, including positive mental attitude, fire craft, shelter building, and more.
